Quality Development Initiatives began its life as Computer Companions NT. A Partnership between a PC enthusiast and an Accountant in Darwin, in 1991. With a focus on providing a high level of on-going service to our business clients and value to our home clients we adopted a policy that remains to this day. "The real service begins AFTER the sale has taken place." Many business people are convinced good service makes sales and it is true. But exceeding customers expectations after sales is what builds a business over time.
In 1994 Computer Companions NT expanded to incorporate a local training provider and an internet service provider when the internet was in its infancy. From this merger the Companion Group NT was formed incorporating Computer Companions NT, Harmony Internet Services, Computer Training NT and CATronics Electronic Repairs. From this base we provided a complete service of sales, training, service, repairs and internet service provision for clients from Government, Business and the general public. In 1996 the group achieved revenue of over 1.3 Million AUD. By 1998, having reached all major business goals the partners had decided to move on to other ventures, from the Companion Group, Quality Development Initiatives was formed to maintain service to selected existing clients. Why QDI ? the name sounds a little daunting but the reasons behind it are both sound and sustainable.

Today QDI remains in the hands of one of the original partners. Peter J Martin. For over a decade Peter in consultation with other long term supporting partners and organisations, continues to provide a complete service for businesses in the areas of Technology sales and support and business consulting.
